Merlot is quickly becoming one of our favorite grapes in the vineyard. The 2022 Merlot delivers the structure and body one would expect from a grape that is the backbone of most fine reds in the world. This wine is a wonderful example of the Merlot varietal and offers aromas of blackberry, blueberry, a blend of dried spices, and hints of oak. The flavor is rich and structured with chalky tannins, beautiful weight, and flavors of cherry, blue fruit, and cocoa powder.
