The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc Fumé is an homage to Loire Valley Sauvignon Blancs, where the Sauvignon Blanc grape is nicknamed Blanc Fumé. Sauvignon Blanc production in the Pouilly-sur-Loire has historically seen oak influence and Crow was inspired by this tradition. This wine shows explosive aromatics of lychee, peach, and citrus blossom. The mouthfeel is warm and voluptuous with hints of citrus, caramelized peach, stone fruit, hints of lime, salty minerality, and a long finish. The oak plays a structural role here and gives a perceived sweetness with hints of vanilla bean and crème brûlée.
